iTrace® Mobile app for iPhone and iPad

The iTrace® Mobile application provides pocket-sized insights into the illicit arms trade. It is a searchable catalogue of 1,000s of weapons documented by Conflict Armament Research (CAR), which deploys its field investigation teams into the world’s major conflict zones to track and trace illicit weapons.

Designed to support the EU- and German government-funded iTrace® Global Weapon Reporting System, the iTrace® Mobile application provides detailed photographs of all recovered weapons, plots their routes (from place of manufacture to point of use), and generates statistics on diversion (the point at which weapons move from legal to illicit custody).

The application also provides users with live notifications, advising them of relevant developments in the field of conflict weapon tracing and providing links to new CAR field investigation reports.
